Money you can finally make sense of.
SmartJib started from a simple frustration: budgeting apps that tell you what you spent, but never help you understand why your money still runs out.
Two questions, one app
Every budgeting question really comes down to two things: what is this money for, and where does it actually sit right now? Most apps mix the two together until neither makes sense. SmartJib keeps them separate, so you always know both — without spreadsheets, without guesswork.
Built for everyday money in Morocco
A salary arrives in a bank account, part of it becomes cash at home, part of it lives in a wallet, and rent leaves from the bank on the first of the month. SmartJib models that reality instead of pretending everything happens on a card.
Private by architecture, not by promise
There is no bank login, no card number and no balance scraping. What you type is what the app knows. Data is cached on your device first, and the export and delete controls are in the profile screen rather than behind a support ticket.
Honest about what it does not do
SmartJib does not invest your money, does not file your taxes and does not replace an accountant. It keeps a month honest: limits that hold, cash that is visible, and a forecast that uses your real commitments.
What we promise, in checkable terms
Privacy claims are cheap. Each of these four can be verified against the product rather than taken on trust.
No bank connection
SmartJib never asks for bank credentials or a PSD2 aggregator. You enter what you want tracked, and the app cannot pull a balance you did not type.
No trackers, no ad SDKs
There is no advertising, analytics or social pixel on the marketing site or in the app. The app fetches only what it needs to render the screen in front of you.
Offline-first
Budgets and expenses are stored locally first and sync when a connection exists. A metro ride through a tunnel does not lose an expense.
Your data is yours
Export your workspace as CSV or JSON at any time, and delete the account from the profile screen — no support ticket, no retention period to argue about.
A note from the founder
I built SmartJib after years of tracking a Moroccan salary across a bank app, a wallet and a drawer at home. The spreadsheet worked; the problem was that no app kept those three places separate, so every total was a guess dressed up as a number. SmartJib is the tool I wanted: it counts cash and bank separately, it forecasts the month you are actually having, and it does not need access to your bank to do either.
